• 5 under 40: New England Home and Landry & Arcari come together to host the spectacular 5 under 40 awards that recognize the best in design in New England. 5 designers under 40 years are nominated by their peers to birth their own vision of beauty in the form of a carpet. These 5 carpet designs are then woven by Landry & Aracri and the carpets are auctioned at the annual event held at L&A’s Boston store. Julie Arcari, our Board Member, is instrumental in this event and we are fortunate to have someone like her on our team because she cares about the issues that we work on and guides our work in more ways than one.

  2023 is the 13th year of this grand event where designers and philanthropists come together to raise money for Barakat’s efforts. We are grateful, beyond anything we can express, to have them as our fundraising and awareness-raising champions. We strive to do work that lives up to the generosity that we receive from our partners in fundraising.

• Yayla Tribal Rugs: Corporate sponsorship by Yayla Tribal Rugs has been the force behind the founding of Barakat Inc. Christopher Walter who is the founder and a Board Member of Barakat continues to support Barakat’s efforts by channeling profits from Yayla into Barakat.
